I had a couple more trips over the holiday break out to Cape Lookout and the Morehead City backwaters and slammed the trout and redfish. One 4hr trip at cape lookout offered up over 400 specks with about 60 keepers from 1 to 3lbs along with about 50 reds... after which we hit some backwater flats and hooked up about a dozen reds while sightcasting in just over 1ft of water. Another MHC trip we released a couple hundred trout and had about 20 keepers from 1 to 2.5lbs...
