11/25/09 Surfin' for Redfish!

This morning I had Charles and John onboard and we eased away from Dudley's shortly after Daybreak to look for some Speckled trout before we attempted to get on those White Water Redfish. Our first stop wasn't too productive but our second area offered up a handful of specs of which the largest was just under 2lbs. We made a move closer to the inlets and eased up to a hole that quickly produced 3 more specs from 2 to 2.5lbs along with a couple sheepshead and a couple blues. With the tide getting just right we moved on to the surf zone and within 10min. of searching in the rain and a little swell we got into a school of redfish. We followed them around for a little while and managed about 15 hook-ups and landed 12 from 5 to 7lbs. Back at the dock shortly after lunchtime with a very successful trip on another cold, rainy day. Thanks guys and great job today!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
