After an incredible cookout in honor of good friend Billy G. My Buddy Dion (The Gourmet Chef)and I decided to hit the water for a few hours Sunday morning. Dion, Landen, Billy's Father and myself got our grub on at Yana's 50's Cafe at 6:30am and stepped on the boat at Dudley's at 7:30am. We just went with the flow today structuring our morning based on the wind and tide. We intened on going out the inlet but... the NE was already strong so, we tied on some Gulp Alive Shrimp and Pogies and hit the marshes for some Reds. It turned out to be an awsome day. We caught reds on jigheads and topwater baits. We probably landed about a dozen reds and missed another half a dozen that pulled the hooks. We also picked up a 1.5lb Whiting, 2lb Speckled Trout, and a 1.5lb Flounder while hunting Reds. Great Job Today Everyone!
