Monday 9/14 Redfish and Flounder

I left Dudley's this afternoon just after 3pm with the owners of Crystal Coast Pools and Spas onboard for a variety of inshore/backwater fishing all packed in a 4hr trip! Opi, Elizabeth, and Dean got an ear full today as I've been known to talk too much sometimes... (bad gift inherited from mom) Anyway, we had fun with some Redfish on our first stop working a shallow grass flat... even boated two nice flounder in the same area. We made a quick move to take advantage of a rising tide to try for some speckled trout... but the water was mucky and all we picked up were two small specs. So as we were passing the inlet...we noticed how calm it was... with an hour and a half left in our trip we decided to go on out and hit a nearshore ledge for flounder. We worked Berkley Gulp Baits on Bucktails and with about 45min. of fishing were able to land 10 flounder and kept 4 nice fish up to 2lbs before heading back to the dock around 7pm! Great job today guys!
