7/30/09 Afternoon Eco-tour and Fish'n
7/30 Afternoon Trip- This afternoon I had Scott Westmoreland, his wife, and their 4 children onboard (8,5,3,1month). We mixed up the afternoon with an eco-tour and some fishing. We started out on a hole where we raked up 100 clams in about a half hour. Then, we moved on to a location where everyone spent a short while hunting sharks teeth. We picked up about 30 Teeth with a few good sized and well shaped. Then we moved on to a location holding shrimp... We caught a mess of Shrimp and various fish. We took some of the shrimp and stopped on several spots and dropped back a few lines where 3yr old Katie hooked up a 7lb 10oz Sheepshead.... Then, we landed a 5.5lb Redfish and one at 6lbs! Great Family Fun in the Afternoon!

Jeff, thanks for such a GREAT family day!! It has been a highlight of our vacation. The kids have not stopped talking about the fishing, clams and sharks teeth. They have called their friends at home to "brag" about their monster fish! They have also shared some teeth with neighbors here on the beach. Your patience with the kids was remarkable and very appreciated, they are high energy and you were great with them, and no one ended up overboard!! Thanks so much and we cant wait to see you next year!
