7/29/09 LOCKING UP THE BIG CONVICTS!

Wed. 7/29- 4hr Morning Trip with Tom Temple, his wife, and their grandson, Michael, who just arrived in town for a week this summer. Tom and his wife were hoping to put Michael on some good fishing fun this morning. Super low tides and strong winds have made it tough this week but, we've switched things up, changed our rigs, baits, locations and it's been great! Today was an absolutely amazing sheepshead bite! Aboard Fish'n4life we've had days with a 100qt cooler full of sheepshead in the past but, today proves that size does matter! WEll... We fished 3hrs using live shrimp and the tally was 14 Sheepshead and 3 Black Drum. Michael had the largest at 7lbs 8oz. We also had a 7lb 5oz, two between 6lbs and 7lbs, 6 fish were from 4lbs to 5lbs, and the smallest 4 were from 1.75lbs to 2.5lbs! The kicker is that we were back at the dock at 9:20am! It doesn't happen like this everyday guys! I'm glad you had fun and i'll certainly remember it for a long time.
Congrats on your big fish Michael!
