NCCHARTERFISHING-Capt.'s Jeff Cronk and MIke Taylor-Crystal Coast, Swansboro, Emerald Isle

I left the dock around 4pm with Eddie F. and guest aboard for some backwater action. Conditions were tough with 20mph NE winds and things started very slow but as the tide began dropping out harder we found an area holding some hungry fish. We worked live shrimp and Berkley Gulps on jigheads and managed to land 7 blackdrum from 1.5 to 2.5lbs, 3 redfish with a couple of 19 to 20inchers, 2 speckled trout about 2lbs each, 5 bluefish and a ladyfish.
