2/4/07 Redfish in the Shallow Backwaters!

2/4/07 I had Steve and Jason onboard again this weekend for another shot at what the backwaters have to offer in the Winter. We let it warm up a little before heading out around 9am. 1st stop we began fising about 3ft of water along some oyster rocks and hooked up with 2 reds (landed one that was just under 18in. and lost the other). We moved on to several locations before finding more fish. We spent the last hour and a half of the trip with steady hook-ups of redfish from 16 to 26in in 12 to 20in of water. Between the three of us we released about 30 reds and kept several 26in fish for them to put on the plate. Again, great job guys! Jason, sorry the photo didn't come out... it was all fogged up as the sun must have caused moisture to condense on the lens of that(cold camera). Capt.
