Mon. Jan 15th Sightcasting to Backwater Reds! Inshore Slam!

Mon Jan 15th good friends Lou Roberts and Doug from Greenville hopped onboard around 7:30am and we took advantage of the slick cam warm morning and worked the mudflats in the backwaters for redfish. On the first stop we found 4 schools of 100 or more per school ranging from 24 to 30in. We fished water 15 to 20in in depth with 1/16oz. gamagatsu leadheads and 4in Berkley Gulp Paddle tail baits. The strikes were instantaneous! What an awsome day as we continued on to several other shallow areas and found reds, trout, and flounder to complete an inshore slam here in January. We boated about 25 big reds today! Great job guys! Capt. Jeff Cronk- FISH'N4LIFE- 910-326-7512
