10/26/06 Thursday afternoon. A short trip this afternoon with a couple from Ohio onboard. Their first time ever fishing in our area and they were willing to catch whatever was cooperating.... Well, we stopped on a hole and after teaching both how to work a spinning reel... we managed to put 3 pretty speckled trout up to 2.5lbs and 4 bluefish in the boat using Berkley Gulps on jigheads and mirrolures. We moved on to a second spot and tried some live shrimp and started laying it to the specs and puppydrum. We put a few more in the boat and released some and headed for the hill.
