Mon. 9/18 4hr afternoon trip with Tony Fox of Greenville, NC onboard. With just 2 to 3ft seas we decided to head out off the beach to locate some flounder. The first stop quickly produced 3 short flounder so we moved on to find some larger fish. The second stop we managed 4 nice flounder from 1.75 to 3lbs. a few short flounder, and a nice seabass. On the last area, we found a good pod of big flounder and put 7 more from 2 to 3.5lbs up along with a couple of shorties and a 2lb triggerfish... Both of us caught all of our fish on 1.5oz jigheads tipped with Berkley Gulp SW Baits. Great Job today Tony! A great afternoon on the water and a mess of fish too... Capt..
