Fri 9/8 4hr pm trip. Pat Campbell with a very nice speckled trout on a spinner bait w/ a berkley gulp 3in. white curlytail in the White Oak River. We spent about 3 and 1/2 hours working spinner baits and topwater baits and managed to land 7 redfish, 1 speckled trout, 1 blackdrum, and 1 flounder.... The weather is very pleasant in the afternoon and early evening hours this time of year and therefore offers some great fishing opportunities for after work hours for those folks unable or not wanting to get up super early.... Mike and I still have a few mornings open for Sept./ Oct. and plenty of late afternoons. Capt. Jeff Cronk 910-326-7512 or Capt. Mike Taylor 252-725-2623 TROUT SEASON HAS BEGUN HERE IN SWANSBORO.....
