Sat. 7/15/06 With Daniel Karner and crew aboard this morning for a 6 hour trip and very iffffy weather we opted to stay inside and work the backwaters for a mixed bag. We worked live shrimp, live mullet minnows, and some artificial baits and wound up landing about 9 southern flounder (5 keeps from 2 to 3lbs), 9 black drum, and 2 sheepshead (one at 5lbs).
