Mon 7/17/06 Phil Smith and his brother aboard this morning for a 6hr trip along the beach. We were hoping to put a few kings, spanish, and maybe a dolphin in the boat but the NE wind gave the fish lockjaw out of Bogue today. We found a mess of terd spanish from 12 to 15in. but we don't like pulling spoons, etc.... but we did manage a 2.5lb and 3lb spanish on light spinning tackle and then switched over to looking for flounder for a couple of hours. It was slow and steady this morning as we landed a few flatties everywhere we stopped to land about 13 and kept 8 from 2 to 3lbs all on 1.5oz jigheads tipped with Berkley Gulp baits and soft plastics. Thanks guys... I enjoyed having you onboard... Capt. Jeff Cronk- FISH'N4LIFE 910-326-7512
