5/20/06 Fred Anameier Group onboard Sat. Morning for what turned out to be a tough 6hrs... Shortly after we left the dock the sky turned black and it decided to commence to several hours of rain and wind... we were going to reschedule the trip but, as always, I had various live baits on the boat... I pulled out about 100 fiddlers from a compartment and we got out of the rain and attempted to catch a sheephead while the rain blew over. We managed about 9 sheepshead in a little over an hour then, after the rain passed we headed up river to look for reds and flounder. We managed to pick up 4 small speckled trout and 6 southern flounder with a few over 2lbs before heading back to the dock in a 20mph SW wind... What a day... but we scraped a few fish up for the frying pan. Thanks Guys and we'll see ya next sat. again for some serious flounder fishing... Capt.
