5/16/06 The bite has moved nearshore... With water temps. just outside bogue inlet this afternoon of 68.5 and plenty of shad along the inlet and beach... there is a mixed bite of spanish (up to 3lbs), kings ( 24 to 28in.), and some Bonito mixing in. We're finding some summer flounder and decent seabass along the nearshore live bottoms and AR's too. Below is a list of open dates available for May and June... Morning 6 or 8 hr trip dates available are 5/21, 5/27, 5/28, 6/4, 6/20, 6/21, 6/23, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27, 6/29. Afternoon 4hr trips available are 5/23, 5/25, 5/26, 5/27, and many afternoons in June. We'll be targeting mainly flounder, reds and sheepshead on the internal waters during May/June and flounder, spanish, bonita, kings, cobia, mahi, in the ocean during the rest of May/June. The new 24ft Triton Bay Boat I am now running can easily accomodate groups of 4 and 5 for targeting the flounder, kings, spanish, etc along the beaches and groups up to 4 for the internal waters for the flounder, reds, sheepshead, trout, etc. I've enjoyed having many of you onboard the new boat already this season.
