3/5/06 2hr afternoon trip for reds with Ben Licko of Swansboro aboard. We got back out along the surf and found another school of fish, much small though..... and managed about 10 reds with the largest fish at about 28in. the water is still very muddy from the SW blow from several days ago which is severly restricting our ability to find the reds...but we managed to find some today... I left both schools biting today and was able to help put other boats in the area on the fish before I departed... ps... thanks goes out to those fisherman that saw us on these fish for not getting on top of us for the short while we were working the school... you are the ones I will gladly share info. with anytime! capt. jeff cronk... In the surf zone there is a complexity to working the boat and keeping it dry that requires fellow boaters to keep a good distance for safety reasons. Many folks disregard this when they see someone catching fish. Safety first, fish second... it's gotta be the rule. again, thank you...  Posted by Picasa
