3/11/06 Sat. Morning Trip with Brandon Sewell and his girlfriend Kelly aboard to look for trout and puppydrum. We found a mess of trout but they were on the small side so after releasing about 14 specs we moved on to look for some puppydrum. We worked both the newport river and bogue sound and saw 3 big schools of reds...but the we were in 12in. of water and they were spoooky! We managed some small pups and one around 22in. to finish off the day. pic above of Kelly with a 16in. puplet....
