Mike Taylor with a 2lb speckled trout... this past weekend the trout and puppydrum were biting good along the beaches as well as in some creeks along the sound. Most of the puppy drum in the creeks are from 16 to 19in. and along the surf there are fish up to 10+ lbs mixed in... the warming trend should cause an increased bite... larger trout up the creeks have turned on as well... a handful of trout from 4 to 7lbs have been caught on artificials this week in area creeks... Expect Reds and Trout all winter with the bite turning off an on along with the weather conditions. warmer days with mid day to afternoon best for the trout and pups in the creeks and no wind to N NW breezes with good sunlight for the reds in the surf... check back for pictures later this week.... January Dates almost gone... booked Jan. 12,14,15,16,23 openings Jan.21, 24,28,29. Expect Striper throughout January along with Reds, and Trout. Thanks again for your support, Capt.
