12/30/05 6HR Trip today with Don and friends aboard. The wind was much too strong and seas much to big to target stripers or work the beach for trout this morning so we went creeking it for a few hours and managed three red drum hook-ups on artificial baits... then about 11:00am the wind layed out and we got out along the beach and found some purrrrty trout and puppies. We managed 11 trout with the four biggest at 1.5lb, 2lb, 2.25lb, and 3.8lb... about 9 puppydrum today and all were from 16 to 17 1/2in. A slow start to the morning but we managed to scrape out a few fish. Great Job Guys... Look forward to fishing with you on the flatties this summer. Capt.
