11/26 Sight Fishing Redfish - Swansboro - Crystal Coast - Capt. Jeff Cronk - Fish'n4life Charters
11/26 Ryan Wood from Greenville and his Father onboard today... Despite the 15 to 20mph winds and a 70 percent chance of rain, these boys stepped onboard and we made it happen today. We fished about 4hrs this afternoon... hiding from the wind in some protected creeks... and the rain held off all afternoon. We found a good school of about 50 redfish and caught 11 reds ranging from 20 to 24in. and a nice sized Southern Flounder. Great afternoon fishing with a couple of excellent fishermen!

Swansboro and Morehead City Fishing Report for December 2013 - Capt. Jeff Cronk - Fish'n4life Charters
Hello Everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Between Fishing, Teaching, and Moving I've been busy... but, the fishing this late fall and early Winter has been phenomenal around our area. We are catching plenty of Redfish and some decent trout too. We are sightfishing redfish in the backwaters flats as well as the surfzone. There are plenty of smaller trout around the inlets and deeper water with the better fish in the smaller creeks and up the mainland rivers and creeks. On our recent trips this December we've been landing 15 to 30 redfish per trip from 20in to 28in... all on Gulp Alive Baits. The trout bite has been good but you have to weed through a bunch of small trout to get those 1 to 3lbers. And, we're finding a few black drum mixed in with the Reds. If you want to do some serious sightfishing this December or January, give me a shout. We fish all Winter and often fishing can be better than summer since the fish congregate up in tight places.
