6/28/06 Had Tommy McDaniel and Ron onboard this morning then eased in to pick up there two boys to finish out the day... Awsome day for fishing and boating... These guys put it to the fish today landing just over a dozen Redfish up to 26 3/4 in., 13 sheepshead, 6 black drum, and 3 flounder. SUPER Job Guys! Capt. 6/27/06 The Nussman family onboard today (Jeff, Mike, Margaret, Will, and Hannah). We fished in and out of the rain today and these guys were troopers... it all payed off though... We wound up landing about 25 Redfish up to 26 3/4in, 24 sheepshead up to 3lbs, and some black drum and bluefish. Great day of fishing even in the cruddy weather... Great job guys! Capt. 6/26/06 Weather was kind of crappy today but I had a few friends aboard for about 4 hours this Monday morning... we managed to work some protected waters around Bogue Sound and surrounding backwaters and flat wore out the redfish. We caught and released close to 25 redfish with the largest at 29 1/2in along with a nice black drum and several flounder. What a day! Capt. 6/24/06 Mike, Joey, Jesse, and George down from Raleigh on Sat. to do some fish'n... We fished both the ocean and the sound for an 8hr trip. We caught fish pretty steady throughout the day and managed to land 1 king (14lbs), 10 flounder with 8 keepers up to 3+lbs, 10 black drum, 3 redfish, 3 speckled trout, 2 sheepshead and a bunch of other stuff. 6/19/06 The Harris Family (Phen, Walker, Foster, and Chasey) down from MHC to get on a redfish bite today with Capt. Mike Taylor of Taylor Made Charters. These guys hit the afternoon rising tide and managed hook-up after hook-up all afternoon during a 4 hour trip. They wound up landing about 20 reds from 17 to 26in. with some black drum mixed in. They managed to work around the strong winds and put fish in the boat! Awsome job guys (and Gal).... Capt. 6/19/06 Jeff holding a 4.5lb sheepshead. The Worrell family onboard for a 4hour trip on Monday morning. With little 4yr old Paul onboard we changed plans this morning and decided to work the internal waters for reds and sheepshead. Bill and the group did an awsome job of working hooking up with red and black drum. We spent about 2 hours working live shrimp to land 14 red drum and 2 black drum along with a speckled trout and a small flounder. On the way in we stopped on some pylons and pulled in 3 sheepshead with a 4.5lber! Super Job Guys and awsome fishing with you! Capt. 6/17/06 OOOPs... almost forgot this small cobia that Ed Gatton's group popped on a light spinning rod and bucktail before we wet a line for flounder in the am.... Capt. Jeff Cronk


6/18/06 Lee Bryant and his bro's with an awsome bite today during an 8hour trip. These boys layed it to the BIG spanish with about 25 knockdowns on light spinning tackle... We managed to get 8 spanish from 4 to just under 6lbs into the box and released a few small kings before the bite slowed. Then we moved on to working some nearshore hard bottom for some flounder. We wound up boating 20 flounder and had 15 keepers with most fish just over 2lbs and the largest just under 5lbs. A few seabass and sharks to mix it up and WHAT A DAY ON THE WATER! 4/11/06 Chase Rogers, of Myrtle Beach, with a 4lb flounder (that had a broken neck), while fishing aboard Taylor-Made Charters with Capt. Mike Taylor on Sunday. 4/12/06 Regular Clients... the Greer brothers from Va. onboard today hoping to get into the ocean to target the flounder, kings, mahi, cobia, etc. like they do every year but mother nature wouldn't have it ... with thunderstorms and strong wind gusts moving through the area all day we opted to stay inside and work the backwaters. It turned out to be a good day despite the set back... We wound up landing about 15 sheepshead from 3/4 to a few just under 5lbs along with 10 red drum and 3 black drum working the flats in the sound and river. 6/11/06 Joe Craig and family of High Point, NC onboard today. Just as soon as we got out a few miles off the beach the wind turned to the NE and picked up to 20+mph with a passing storm. We anchored up and rode it out while putting a few nice flounder and bass in the boat... followed by a nice dolphin. The weather cleared and we headed back inshore to land about 9 sheepshead. 6/10/06 Dion and his mother Sue Lynn, Billy and his wife Mara onboard today an 8hr trip along the beach... It was a steady bite with fish on every spot we worked. We landed 17 flounder with 13 keepers and 5 fish over 3lbs. they also got a 25in. king and a 23in. Mahi along with some seabass up to 1.5lbs and an Almaco Jack.... A few sharks in the mix and we had a Cobia at the side of the boat that wouldn't cooperate and eat our baits... Oh well, that's fish'n! Great job guys.... Capt.
